How to Transfer Files Between Phone and PC
Getting a file from your phone to your computer usually means cables, cloud accounts or emailing yourself. Here is a faster way that works in the browser, no app needed.
The no-cable, no-app way
You can move a file straight from your phone to your PC (or the reverse) using a peer-to-peer transfer in the browser. The file goes directly between the two devices, so there is no upload, no size limit, and nothing is stored anywhere.
How to do it
- On the sending device, open the file transfer tool and pick your file.
- Share the link with your other device (or scan the QR code).
- Open the link on the second device and the file transfers directly. Keep both tabs open until it is done.
Works across everything
Because it is just a web page, it works between iPhone and Windows, Android and Mac, or any mix, with no accounts and no software to install.
