Why email will not send big videos
Most email providers cap attachments at around 25 MB, but a short 4K phone video can easily be several hundred megabytes. That is why your large video gets rejected or never arrives.
Send it browser to browser
The fastest fix is a peer-to-peer file transfer: the video streams directly from your device to the recipient's browser, so there is no upload, no size limit, and nothing is stored on a server. You open the tool, share the link, and the transfer runs while both of you have the page open.
Step by step
- Open the file transfer tool and add your video.
- Send the generated link to the other person.
- When they open it, the video transfers directly, keep the tab open until it finishes.
